We are very sorry but this event has had to be cancelled
Please accept our apologies for any disappointment
Start: Idlecombe Farm, Turville near Henley-on-Thames (RG9 6QU)
Length: 3.6 miles / 5.8km - Allow 1 to 2 hours
Please join us for a sponsored circular walk in conjunction with BBC Country File in aid of Children in Need - helping disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.
The walk is In the countryside and includes rough uneven paths, several stiles and some hills; it may well be wet and muddy in parts – good walking boots / shoes are essential. A rainproof jacket is advised in case of bad weather.
There is also one road section where extra care needs to be taken. You may encounter livestock in some of the fields; please ensure you close gates after you.
You will be provided with a map to guide you round; there will also be marshals along the route at intervals of about 400 yards or less. Refreshments will be available to buy at The Barn, Turville Heath approximately half way round the walk.
If you encounter any problems, have to leave the walk for any reason or have any questions please contact the nearest marshal. At the end of the walk you must check in at the desk before going home.
Toilets are available at the start/end of the walk and at The Barn.
Please note children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Dogs are allowed on the walk but must be kept on short leads at all times
